Jo Deane Vekich

August 23, 1926 - November 24, 2023

A service in witness to Jo’s life and faith will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. noon at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 9420 Portage Rd., Portage. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. Jo will be laid to rest next to Emil at Mt. Ever Rest Memorial Park, South. Memorial contributions may be given to Lord of Life Lutheran Church, or Kairos Dwelling, in c/o the funeral home.

Just heard about Jo's passing today. I'm so sorry to hear this. Jo and Emil were so good to me back when I worked for them at Tally-Ho. I couldn't have asked for better people to work for then them. They treated me like family and if I needed help with anything, they were there to help me. This is a sad day for me, and my prayers go out to the family.

What a Servant’s Heart she had!!! She was a childhood friend of my Mother Eleanor Wright. Always thinking of/doing for others. She was a true blessing to our family! Gone but never to be forgotten!
