After a nearly two-year battle with cancer, Joan Campbell, age 66, passed away peacefully August 17, 2020, at Glen Arbor Hospice, Battle Creek. Born August 21, 1953, to parents John and Grace Musselman, she was a graduate of Loy Norrix High School and worked as a Bailiff and Court Recorder for the 8th District Court in Kalamazoo for many years. With a no-nonsense attitude, a fantastic sense of humor and a knack for making everyone who knew her feel like family, Joan touched the lives of countless people who had the pleasure of knowing her. In her later years, she enjoyed travelling the country, fishing, throwing unforgettable bashes for family and friends with a tall rum and coke in hand. Joan was tirelessly devoted to caring for her disabled daughter, Amy who survives her. Joan loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Besides Amy, she is survived by her son, John (Amanda) Campbell of Henderson, NV; her daughter Amanda (Ryan) Kershner of Galesburg; grandchildren, William, James and Juliette Campbell, and Hayden and Greyson Kershner, as well as her life partner, Harold Bell and his son and daughter, Aaron Bell and Amy Glenn. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ronnie Campbell.
