Age 59, passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence on Saturday, February 16, 2019. John was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on October 21, 1959, the son of the late Gordon B. and Mary E. (Carosella) Andersen. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps and was employed by Simpson and Georgia Pacific papermills. John was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, University of Alabama football and NASCAR. He is survived by his sisters, Cheryl Fleming and Christina Barber; nephews, Paul (Dana Silva) Haynes and Nicholas Miller; niece, Jennifer (Troy) Tuyls; great-nephews, Troy Tuyls and Maxwell Silva; daughter like friend, Corey Steele and her children, Darryn, Davion, Ceonna, Lawrence, Aerilyn and Oliver; best friend, Ronnie (Janice) Morris; and his K9 companion, Major.
