Age 77, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. John was born in Kalamazoo on November 16, 1947, the son of the late John Biewer and Ruth Pearl (Carter) Roller. John proudly served his nation in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Loy Norrix High School. On December 22, 1967, John was united in marriage to Sandra D. Ladd who preceded him in death in 2021. He was a long-time employee of The Upjohn Company which later became Pfizer. As a young man, he enjoyed going fishing with his dad. Nothing was more important to him than his family. John is survived by his son, John A. (Tonya) Roller; daughter, Jodi (Denny) Roehm; sister-in-law, Teresa (Al) Themm; granddaughters, Cecelia and Gabriella Roehm and Kaitlynn (Cory) Randall; mother, Ruth Roller; sisters, Sharon (Phil) Green and Patricia (Tom) Short; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends, including his companion, Susan Byrne; and his special four-legged friend, Jemi. Besides his wife, John was preceded in death by his father.
