A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced shortly at First Presbyterian Church of Kalamazoo, where Doug will be laid to rest in the church columbarium. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, in c/o the funeral home.

Jane and Marta---, I just learned of Doug's passing. There are no words to express the sorry I feel for y'all Doug and I worked together at JCP. He was a good worker, always ready to help. It was a privilege to know him. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

I am so sorry to read about Doug's passing, Janie. Please let me know when his service will be so that my husband & I can attend, if possible. My sincerest sympathy to you & Marta.
