Jack was a super buddy & great teammate in softball, bowling & football pool coordinator. He will be missed.

Jack was my brother-in-law and an incredible husband to my sister Toni. When my sister first introduced us to her new boyfriend, who I believe she met on a night out in London, an American service man from Chicago? The family didn’t quite know what to expect. We found out over the years what a really genuine individual he and his family are and when he was put to the test he shone like a bright star. I had an unfortunate sad incident happen, my first wife passed away leaving me with a little two-year-old girl, Julie. By then Jack and Toni had moved to the US. I together Julie and our parents were invited to Canada and the US. To give us time to adjust to the situation. Jack drove from Libertyville to Peterborough and back again. Together with his father Stuart we were royally distracted from the realities of our situation. Our memories this side of the pond will be of a loving husband, father and a person that genuinely cared for others. May his soul rest in peace. Mike Godfrey – Brother in Law
