Age 66, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 19, 2022. John was born in Kalamazoo, on January 14, 1956, the son of Robert Lee and Zada Zephine (Simpson) Culp. John worked for 20 years at Metro Toyota. He enjoyed hockey, golf and backpacking. He was a handyman and enjoyed working on household projects. He liked sitting by the firepit. Nothing was more important to him than his children who survive him, Kevin (Mariel) Culp, Keri (Matthew) Smith, Nathan (Talia Tevis) Culp and Grace Culp. John is also survived by his grandchildren, Marcus Smith, Hannah Smith, Amaya Culp, Jayce Culp, and Jocelyn Culp; his sister, Gloria Culp; niece, Elizabeth (Stan) Hoyt; nephew, M. Jacob (Amy) Rohr; his former wives, Patricia Andux and Cecily Colby; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
