December 1, 1940 - September 6, 2022

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Lutheran Church of the Savior, 3616 East G Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49004, with Pastor Bart Beebe officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. Memorial contributions in Jon’s memory may be made to the CMT research association at: CMT Association, P.O. Box 105 Glenoldin, PA 19036 or online at www.cmtausa.org.

A good friend of Jon since we both attended Ferris State University in the 1960’s. Jon would always be driving his 1960 White 4 door Chevy Impala around Big Rapids. There was a group of us that would go out and have Pizza, Pepsi or Hamburger at Schuberg’s Bar & Grill at least once a week. All of us would go to the Student Center to listen to jukebox and go to student dances at center. Also enjoyed going to Jon family cottage in Caseville in the summer. My sincerest condolences to Dee, Kevin and Megan to each of you. May Jon Rest In Peace!
