Age 88, went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2018, three days after her birthday. She was born in Chicago, IL on November 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Cornelius Inniss Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Clyde Johnson. Josephine had a wonderful smile, warm personality and was a joy to know. She was a hard worker who was employed as an administrative assistant for the City Colleges of Chicago. She retired after more than twenty years of service but never stopped working. She went on to own and operate her own home daycare and housekeeping business. When not working Josephine enjoyed being in her garden and near flowers. She also enjoyed crafts and was skilled at knitting. She kept up on the latest fashion trends and always looked polished. Josephine was selfless and her home and heart were always open to those in need. She spent many years teaching Sunday school and had a strong faith in the Lord. Above all Josephine loved her family. Family and holiday gatherings were always held at her home and her famous dishes were always enjoyed. She leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived! She is survived by her husband Frederick Adewusi; four children, Abdallah (Fiona) Clark, Felicia Hughes, Heather (Jeffery) Smith, Olivia (Victor) Kesselly; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins; a dear sister-in-law, Lajuana Weathers and friends, Mary Mitchell and Camiell Burse. She was also preceded in passing by a son, Harvey Clark; three siblings, Mabel, Lillian and Cornelius Jr.
