Age 72, passed away at Borgess Medical Center on Monday, January 9, 2017. Joyce was born in Kalamazoo on February 27, 1944, the daughter of the late Clarence and Jane Fisher. She remained a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area where she made many friends. She was gentle, quiet and had a loving heart. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central and would later become a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She became very active in the sorority and after forty years attained the highest degree of Torchbearer. When not working, she enjoyed painting china and sewing. She leaves behind many wonderful memories for those who loved her and she will be missed. She is survived by a brother, Donald (Jonalee) Fisher, members of Torchbearer Rho Chapter, nieces and friends.
