Age 75, Judy made her final journey on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born in Battle Creek on November 14, 1942, the daughter of the late Floyd and Violetta (Covert) France. On October 28, 1967, Judy was united in marriage to Gerald “Gary” L. Reynolds, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joy Hess and brother, Ron France, Sr. Judy was fiercely dedicated to her family and was “everybody’s” mom. She was outgoing and made friends wherever she went. She spent many years babysitting for a family of six and was instrument in their upbringing. Judy had a strong faith and was active in her church community. She passed her faith and love of the Lord onto her family and took great pleasure in bringing her grandchildren to church with her. Judy will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by all who knew her. She was the most amazing mom to her children and grandmother to her grandkids and leaves them to cherish her memory. Judy is survived by her loving children, Sondra Kelso of Corpus Christi, Texas, Stacy (Ray Esseltine) Reynolds, Ken Reynolds, and Tom Walaskay, all of Battle Creek. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Arianna and Emily Reynolds and grandsons, Kyle and Jacob West.
