Age 64, passed away in Portage, MI, on May 26, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Columbus, OH, on May 8, 1958, the daughter of the late Alvin and Catherine (Schwab) Shipley. Judy was a kind, loving and compassionate woman who had a zest for life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and leaves behind many wonderful memories to cherish. She had a peaceful nature about her, enjoyed being outdoors working in her garden and spending time making crafts. Judy also enjoyed listening to music, was an avid reader and played many word games. She loved caring for animals, especially her granddogs, “Peppi” and “Callie” and her grandcats, “Wru” and “Sterling”. Judy’s warm smile and love will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by two loving children, Leah (Christopher) Double, Michael (Sarah Harmon) Clark II; siblings, George (Carolyn) Hart, Joe Shipley, James “Mike” (Karen) Shipley, Cathy Shipley-Sabie; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a son, Benjamin Joseph Clark; siblings, Larry Shipley and Patti High; nephew, Carey Shipley.
