Age 76, passed away at Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek on May 30, 2020. She was born in Battle Creek on January 15, 1944, the daughter of the late Oliver and Virginia (Williams) Strole. She graduated from Bellevue High School and went on to earn her Cosmetology License. She was a hard worker and held many jobs. She worked at Ferrari’s Hair Salon, delivered papers for the Battle Creek Enquirer, was a cashier at Stimac’s Grocery and retired from the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center where she worked for fifteen years. After her retirement she continued to stay busy and worked as a Park Manager at the Citrus Hill RV Park in Florida. When not working, Judy enjoyed many hobbies. She loved fishing and camping and was immensely proud of her twenty-pound Northern Pike she caught in Canada. She also enjoyed attending auctions, going to casino’s, playing bingo and cards. She made fond memories with family and friends, cooking and hosting special events, and traveling the country with her life partner Don Myatt. Judy was a woman of Christian faith and attended many churches during her lifetime. She leaves behind many wonderful memories of a life well lived and she will be missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her three children, Tina (Dave) Jacoby Jr., Tammy (Dave) Bammer and Ron Whitman; grandchildren, David R. Jacoby III, Ashley (Chris) Inman, Danni (Mike) Johnson; Nathan Parsons, Caitlyn and Tyler Whitman, Mitchell and Zachary Bammer, Dave (Lacey) Bammer; great-grandchildren, Gavin and Brody Inman, Faith Young, Payton Flemming, Aiden, Carter, Sadie, Macie, Amiah Traceah, Alleena, Dalton, Mackenzie and Sophia Bammer; sister, Marsha Jean Sawyer; nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a son, Robert L. Whitman; sisters, Joyce E. Ramsdell, Deloris (Jo) Eggleston and Eva Louise Strole; her life partner, Don Myatt.
