August 3, 1950 - October 27, 2025

Karel (Moser) Wilson, a radiant soul whose warmth touched countless lives, passed at the age of 75 on November 27, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital after suffering more than a yearlong battle with a condition caused by a hernia surgery gone bad. Her final chapter followed a courageous journey through serious health challenges, yet her spirit remained an inspiration to all who knew her. A proud 1967 graduate of Portage Northern High School, Karel pursued further studies at Davenport University. Her professional path shone brightly at Mead Paper Products until its closure, followed by a fulfilling career at General Mills, where she contributed with dedication until her well-earned retirement. Karel's true masterpiece was her home—a haven of beauty both inside and out. With an innate flair for interior design and a green thumb, she transformed her garden into enchanting retreat and created spaces that welcomed everyone with open arms. An adventurous spirit at heart, she loved exploring the world alongside her cherished traveling companions and treasured moments with her devoted circle of friends. Karel was the epitome of loyalty, infusing every gathering with laughter, good cheer, and a positive outlook that lifted spirits wherever she went. Karel was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Irene Moser; her sister, Karen VanDenBerg; her brother, Keith Moser; her nephew, Nate Gilda; and her beloved dog, Cosette. She is survived by her nieces, Vicki VanDenBerg and Gigi Holmes, as well as a vast extended family of dear friends who were blessed to have her in their lives. Karel Elizabeth Moser-Wilson was profoundly loved and will be greatly missed and eternally cherished by all who were fortunate to experience her generous, loving heart.
