I met Karen in the 7th grade and we stayed friends through junior high and high school. We became even closer friends in the years after high school. I have so many memories of so many fun times with her--we were a little crazy. I will remember and cherish those times forever! I miss knowing you are still on Earth with me Karen but know I will see you again someday . All my love always, Cathy Rynd McCormick

Karen was such a special lady! She was a friend and coworker at Curious Kids. She was so dedicated and hard working! She was a blessing to all the children she cared for! We will surely miss her smile, her sense of humor and her loving nature. ❤️

I miss my sister already. We are heartbroken that we lost her, but glad that she is no longer suffering nor in pain. Maybe it's too fresh to express my feelings well. I love you forever Karen.

Karen always has, and always will hold such a special place in my heart. I will miss her stories and her little quips that always made me laugh. She was like family to me and I thank curious kids for bringing her into my life. All my love.

Family & friends: May memories of happier times help assuage your sadness at Karen's passing. Karen was a neighbor on Fulton St. as VERY YOUNG children. I moved to Lay Blvd. at age 4 and ran into Karen decades later when she worked at VanBochove on Miller Rd. I'll say a special prayer for her sweet soul and the comfort of all who love and miss her.
