ALLEGRETTI, Karole A.
“Bobbi”
Kalamazoo
Age 74, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Bobbi was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 19, 1949, the daughter of the late Carl Harvey and Barbara Jean (Sneckner) Wahlburg. She attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Grammar School in Chicago and graduated from Lakeview High School, also in Chicago. Bobbi held many jobs over the years, including at Illinois Bell Telephone Company, Kalamazoo Regional Psychiatric Hospital, Department of Social Services and Clark Gas Station, but perhaps her most favorite job was being manager of Denny’s Restaurant. She loved writing in her journals, motorcycle rides and collecting things like pens, trinkets, DVDs, magnets and glass ornaments. Bobbie also loved her family immensely and cherished spending time with them, especially at gatherings. She was generous and caring and helped many people, especially children, throughout her life. Bobbie was a member of Bethany Reformed Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Giovanni “Chopper” Allegretti; sister, Patricia Sneckner and her favorite grandmother, Jean (VanHorn) Sneckner. Bobbie was loved by her family and will be missed by those who survive, including her children, David (Jessica), John (Rhonda), Lisa and Michael Allegretti; her grandchildren, Jason Allegretti, Joshua Little, Alexis Bell, Merina (Parker) Munson, Jessica Allegretti, Jacob Allegretti, Jullyan Allegretti, Steven Little and Aeliyoniah Allegretti; great-grandchildren, Oliver Little, Parker Jr. and Reese Munson and Gianna Allegretti and her sister, Jeannie Mohr.
