A private family service is being planned. Contributions in Kate’s memory may be given to Shepherd’s Center of Great Kalamazoo or West Michigan Cancer Center.

I\'ll always remember our camping trips in the Colorado mountains with all the gals of Woodland Park. Your wonderful attitude was something I always wanted to pass down to new people I met. Love & light sent to you and your family while your next journey begins.

So sad to see this news. I always enjoyed Kate. Her intelligence, her wit and her stories of adventure were always a joy. May she find love and peace again in being reunited with her daughter in the Lord's arms.
