September 11, 1955 - December 17, 2022

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 13th 2023 at 10:30 am at Saint Thomas More Student Parish in Kalamazoo, with luncheon to follow. Memorials may be directed to the Trust of Kathleen Hogan-Martinez to help support her son Mario.

I used to work with Kathleen at Borgess, about 40 years ago. I remember her as being compassionate and very caring toward her patients. She was an excellent nurse and enjoyable to work with. Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing. I worked with Kathy at Borgess Hospital and will remember her for her compassion and empathy she had for each patient she cared for. She had a quiet demeanor and a sweet smile. The 7N staff had weekend and holiday potlucks and although we difficult jobs we enjoyed our time together in the breakroom. She was liked by everyone. I hope the memories of this lovely lady will help you through this difficult time.
