Age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, May 7, 2024. Kathy was born in Kalamazoo on September 8, 1961, the daughter of Norman E. and Jeannine F. (Peters) Burland, who preceded her in death. Kathy had an artistic side and loved painting pictures. She enjoyed watching western movies on TV. She also liked music, mostly country/western. She always looked forward to family get-togethers. Kathy is survived her siblings, Dan (Sheila) Burland, Joe (Theresa) Burland, Mary McQueen, Rita Verile, Neva (Mark) Verile, Stanley (Jill) Burland and Edwin (Lori) Burland; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Besides her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her step-father, Ralph Dinkel; brother, Norman Burland Jr.; sister, Jeannie Seals; nephew, Stan Burland Jr.
