Age 72, passed away late Monday evening, March 21, 2022.  Kathy was born in Kalamazoo, on December 22, 1949 the daughter of Donald Leroy and  Betty Blythe (Knight) Babbitt.  On November 21, 1970, she married Larry Pickett who survives her. Kathy was an avid gardener. She worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist and more recently she worked with a team on estate sales. She also like kayaking, boating and swimming, as well as other lake activities. She loved dogs, especially her little Westie, Pippin. Kathy also enjoyed shopping.  Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Krista; (Ken) Teitelbaum of Beijing, China, Keri Pickett of Portage; grandchildren, Brandon Teitelbaum and Keegan Teitelbaum; brother, David (Val) Babbitt of Kalamazoo; brothers and sisters in law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
