Kathy McPherson (Petto) age 74, passed away at Borgess Gardens Nursing Home the evening of June 25, 2019 with family at her side. She was born in Kalamazoo on July 13, 1944, the daughter of the late Robert and Elaine Petto. She remained a lifetime resident of Kalamazoo. She was a graduate of Comstock High School Class of 1962. Her family owned and operated the Bowlatorium in Comstock for several years. Kathy was always a hard worker and retired from Bronson Methodist Hospital where she worked as a Unit Clerk. When not working she loved spending time with her family and loved them all unconditionally. She had the biggest heart, did so much for everyone, always putting others first. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her. Kathy is survived by two daughters, Kelly and Stacey Krause; stepson, Dan (Rissa) McPherson; six grandchildren, Ashley (Andrew) Newcomb, Kyle Krause, Kenny Kaleb, Kendra Wardlow, Bryce McPherson; great-grandson, Kenny Wardlow; brother, Butch (Janet) Petto; sister, Kimberly Petto Brown; several nieces, nephews and friends.
