Age 70, of Battle Creek, MI, formerly of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on August 11, 2024. He was born in Oak Park, IL, on May 3, 1954, the son of the late Robert J. Kelly Sr. and Marcella V. Kasper. He was also preceded in passing by a nephew, Robert Kelly. He is survived by his three siblings, Katherine Geib, Robert Kelly Jr., and Margaret Loughmiller; nephews, Jon Geib and Michael Kelly; nieces, Jenny and Lisa Geib; extended family and friends. Keith was kind and generous. He was loved by his neighbors and was always willing to help those in need. In his free time Keith enjoyed gardening, watching sports, listening to music and playing guitar. He never minded getting a little dirty and enjoyed tinkering with truck and car engines. He supported his community and was a member of the Michigan Sheriff’s Association. Keith received formal education at Kellogg Community College and graduated from Western Michigan University. Keith will be remembered and loved by those who were close to him.
