Ken will be laid to rest with full military honors at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in a graveside service to be held in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, c/o the funeral home.

Age 95, passed away on Monday morning December 13, 2021. Ken was born in Kalamazoo on August 24, 1926, the son of Clare and Lucille (Ritter) Harrington. On August 16, 1974, he married Joanne Mae Keeley who survives him. Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a machine supervisor at Parker Hannifin. His work as a machinist was excellent in every way. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Ken was active in his church for decades. He had a very strong faith and is now in the presence of his Lord. Ken had a charming way to sooth crying babies and out of control dogs. Besides his wife Ken is survived by his children, Jon (Sharon) Harrington, Robert (Linda) Harrington, Thomas (Ruby) Harrington, Sue Henderson, Roxanne (Donald) Schrader; step-children, Duane (Bonnie) Ketchum, Sharon Ketchum, Robin Ketchum, Renee Huff, Denise (Bob) Williamson, 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Jack Ketchum and Kenneth “Skip” Harrington; daughter Vickie Volker; and brothers, Melford Harrington and Clare Harrington.
