Kenneth Richard McDonald, age 52, of Vicksburg, MI, passed away at Bronson Hospital on March 24, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI, on April 2, 1973. Ken was a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who will be missed by those who loved him. He had a great smile and was a joy to know. He was a loving and dedicated son and enjoyed a close relationship with his mother and in-laws. Ken was a passionate fisherman who was most happy when casting a line and reel. He was very crafty and enjoyed woodworking. He loved animals especially his loyal companions, “Thor” and “Bones”. Ken worked hard as a machine builder at CLM Vibetech in Comstock, where he enjoyed accomplishing projects alongside his many co-workers and friends. When not working or catching fish, his greatest passion was spending time with his family. He was especially proud of his grandson, William and nieces, Emily and Aaron. To know Ken was to know his warmth and he will be remembered fondly. In July 2009, he married Rosella “Rose” (Nickols) McDonald who survives. He is also survived by stepdaughter, Tiffany (Ben) Larson; grandson, William Larson; mother, Susan (Jerry) Cramer; father, Thomas McDonald; extended family and friends. He was preceded in passing by a sister, Corey Lynn McDonald and brother, Michael McDonald.
