A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Community of Christ Church, 2523 Amherst Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49008; with Pastors Kevin Anderson and David Wiley officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions in Kim’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Age 47, passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence on April 12, 2019, after a courageous battle with cancer. Kim was born in Muskegon, Michigan on August 10, 1971, the daughter of Michael D. and Janet (Deming) Dodds. On November 9, 1991, she was united in marriage to Scot D. Smith. In addition to her parents and husband, Kim is survived by her children, Michaela and Nash Smith; sister, Kendra (Kevin) Mock and their children, Noah and Charlie; and her mother in-law, Barbara Smith.
