A memorial to celebrate Kyle’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Northeastern Baptist Church, 6536 East G Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49048. A socially distant style visitation will take place outside the church, one hour prior to the service. The family requests that those attending wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you donate to the college funds for Kyle’s nephews, Owen and Maxwell.

Age 32, passed away from Covid related complications at Bronson Methodist Hospital on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Kyle was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 5, 1989, the son of Timothy W. and Karen M. (Rand) Stevens. He was a graduate of Parchment High School, class of 2007. Kyle went on to attend classes at Grand Valley State University and earned an associate degree from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. He was an avid fan of Star Wars, The Avengers and other action movies. Kyle also loved to play video games. He was employed at Arbor Financial Credit Union as an E-commerce Specialist. Kyle is survived by his parents, Tim and Karen Stevens; sister, Randi (Matthew) Klop; brother, Matthew Stevens; nephews, Owen Stevens and Maxwell Klop; grandparents, Sue Stevens and Keith and Bev Rand and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ron Stevens.
