Age 80, passed away on August 8, 2020 at Care Community in Battle Creek, MI. Larry was born in Kalamazoo on November 3, 1939, the son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Stirk) Hotrum. Larry remained a lifetime resident of Kalamazoo. He was an avid race care fan. He loved flagging local races and was known by many around the tracks. He loved animals and spent time caring for them. Larry earned a Black Belt in Karate. He often attended service at St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was a hard worker who was employed for more than thirty years at Haviland Products Company. Larry’s smile and friendship will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Tracy, Victoria, Dawn, Sherry; a sister, Rose (Theodore) Arnold; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was also preceded in passing by a brother, Charles Hotrum.
