Age 61, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. Laura was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 7, 1961, the daughter of the late Charles and Naomi (Boland) Howard. She graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1979. Laura was a good softball player and enjoyed playing bingo. She was a devoted mother, a great friend and a wonderful sister. Laura is survived by her son, Alan Johnson; granddaughters, Lily and Emily; brother, Charles (Deborah) Howard; several nieces and nephews and life-long special friend, Allison (Jeff) Trainer. Besides her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Steven Howard. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and no service is scheduled. Memorial contributions may be made to Edgewood Health & Rehabilitation of Three Rivers.
