April 30, 1964 - January 26, 2025

The family will receive friends at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo, MI 49001, on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 12648 E D Ave. Augusta, MI 49012. Interment to be held privately at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kalamazoo County Area Agency on Aging or in Laurie’s memory, spend time and with a loved one!

I was very sad to learn of Laurie's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing both Laurie and John from Gull Lake as well as John, for many years through Suburban Mechanical and R.W. LaPine. Laurie helped me with funeral arrangements for a dear friend when she worked at Joldersma & Klein and I ran into her later on at Langland's. Laurie was always a very kind and helpful person in the funeral business and a happy lady over all. I send my sincere condolences to John and James. I no longer live in Michigan but hope the love of family and friends will sustain John and James through this sad chapter of life. RIP Laurie. I am sure you are an angle watching over your loved ones.

Though I never had the pleasure to work with her, being in the funeral profession our paths crossed several times over the years. She was such a beautiful person that was kind and easy to talk to. Her family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
