Cremation has already taken place and internment will be at Boughton Cemetery on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. After internment, a catered reception will be held at the Scotts Community Center, 8450 36th St., Scotts, MI 49088, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. Family and guests are encouraged to bring photos and stories to share.

Lee Lindley passed away on April 6, 1996 at Borgess Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Kalamazoo on July 8, 1935, the son of Gordon and Ruth (Mitchell) Lindley. He served in active duty in the U.S. Navy, then worked for 16 ½ years with the City of Kalamazoo Fire Department. Additionally, he owned and operated Soft Water of Kalamazoo until 1977.
Marilyn (Lorio) Lindley was born April 1, 1937, the daughter of August and Rose (Tolmacs) Lorio. A graduate of Kalamazoo Public Schools, she married Lee Lindley on November 11, 1958. They had two children and Marilyn worked at home to raise the family until she and Lee became proprietors of the Nob Hill Tavern in 1977. She also owned and operated a Ceramic Studio and Plantland Boutique. Marilyn passed peacefully at home the morning of January 15, 2018.
Both Marilyn and Lee were preceded in death by their parents, and their son, Mark Lane on August 11, 1989. They are survived by a daughter, Terri (Tim) Myers; grandchildren, Amber L. Doan and Thomas M. (Caitlin) Doan; and a great grandson, Eliott Doan.
