A time of visitation will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2020, from 2-4 p.m. at funeral home A funeral service to celebrate Mr. Rowe’s life will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home on Monday, February 10th at 11 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Mount Everest Memorial Park on South Westnedge in Kalamazoo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Michigan, c/o the funeral home.

Age 78, passed away on Wednesday morning, February 05, 2020 in Holland, Michigan. He was born on June 09, 1941 in Grundy, Virginia, the son of Robert and Jane Rowe. Lee worked for the City of Kalamazoo as a truck driver for the waste-water plant and retired after more than 30 years of service to his community. He spent much of his free time with his family and enjoyed fishing Blue Grass and Country music and loved playing the lottery, as well. Lee was loved for his thoughtfulness and generosity to others. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lila, his parents, and brother, Harry Brown. Lee leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Gary (Tracy) Rowe of Holland, Michigan, daughter Linda Baker of Mountain Home, Arkansas, his beloved grandchildren, Jackie Moneyhun, Mitchell (Kelsey) Rowe, Mariah Ewald and Kristy Shroad, as well as his great grandchildren, Natalie and Logan Rowe and Elijah Smith, Joanna Ewald, Jakob Cervantes and Johnny Moneyhun, as well as his brother, Willie (Phyllis) Rowe and sister, Mary Stanford.
