Age 80, passed away Wednesday morning, September 13, 2023. Lee was born in Kalamazoo on August 23, 1943, the son of Lester Erwin and LeCora Ruth (Shively) Eshlaman. On May 29, 1971, he married Sharon Kay Naegele, who survives him. Lee enjoyed doing things outdoors, like hunting, fishing and boating. He worked for many years for Kalamazoo County as Park Ranger at Scotts Mill Park. Besides his wife, Lee is survived by his children, Annalisa (Brian) Nieboer and Jeremy Eshlaman; grandchildren, Kayla (Casey Clark) Nieboer, Morgan Nieboer, Shelby (Drew Gonzales) Nieboer, Cody Nieboer, Colt Nieboer, Alayna Eshlaman; great grandchild, Raelynn Clark; baby girl Clark and baby boy Gonzales on the way; brother, Richard (Jacqueline) Eshlaman; sister, Marian (Richard) Redford; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
