Burdick St., Kalamazoo, with Pastor Gerald Miller officiating. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10: 00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center or the American Diabetes Association.

Age 79, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. Leonard was born on July 15, 1940 in Plainwell, MI, the son of Frederick and Loraine (Baldwin) Brabon. On September 13, 1963, he married Gloria Bennett, who survives him. Leonard worked for many years at General Motors and was a member of UAW 488. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. Leonard was an avid reader and was always up for a game of cribbage. He also enjoyed bird watching, gardening and woodworking. Leonard and Gloria loved travelling to Tennessee and made the trip many times. Nothing was more important to him than family. He will be remembered for being loving and helpful to others. Besides his wife, Leonard is survived by four daughters, Terri (Tim) Adriance, Penny (Jerry) Labadie, Loretta (Scott) Woodin and Carol (Dan) Miller; grandchildren, Keegan (Kelsey) Adriance, Leslie Adriance, Melinda (Stephen) Williams, Jay Lautenschleger, Austin Woodin, Alyssa Woodin, Allison Miller and Grant (Emily) Miller; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Kim) Brabon; sister, Ann (Mike) McCreary; many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Carolyn and Jeanne.
