Linda Kay Payne, 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 9, 2026. She has now been reunited with the love of her life, her husband, Julius Payne, who preceded her in death. Linda is survived by her children, Michelle (Chris) Stoops, Audrey (Jose) Coronado, and Chris (Jamie) Payne. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Alexander Stoops, Eladio (Corina), Graice (Jose), Hanna, and Kevin Coronado and Madeline and Linus Payne. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Lainey, Ozzy, Ciela, and Elaia. While she loved her family deeply, Linda shared a deeply special and close bond with her grandchildren Eladio, Graice, Hanna, and Kevin. They were a constant presence in her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. She similarly adored her great-grandchildren, finding immense joy and purpose in the time they shared together. In her later years, Linda found great happiness in the company of her dear friends, Judy and Lindsay. Their visits and friendship brought her much laughter and comfort, and she truly valued the special connection they shared. A woman of many talents, Linda found peace in crafting, reading, gardening and traveling. She will be remembered for her generous heart and the way she shared her life’s wisdom with those closest to her. She will be greatly missed by the family and friends who walked alongside her.
