A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Portage United Church of Christ, 2731 W. Milham Ave., Portage, MI 49024, with Rev. Mary Kay Schueneman officiating. A time of visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service. A light luncheon will follow the service. Memorial contributions in Kim’s memory may be made to the Portage United Church of Christ Love Fund. As an alternative to a monetary gift and a way to honor Kim’s love for animals, the family suggests bringing items (food, treats, blankets, etc.) to the church on the day of the service or directly to a local animal shelter.
