A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service to honor her life will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park South, beginning at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, c/o of the funeral home.

Loretta Lorraine Johnson Lang, 93, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 22, 2021, in Grovetown, Georgia, Surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Lang was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late John Johnson and Rose Smith Johnson. She loved reading her Bible and attended Bethesda Baptist Church. Working crossword puzzles, travelling with her sister and her family on Cruises and playing in the Casino’s was her absolute favorite things to do. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Belinda Wellington; her son Randy Franks; her sister, Nora Clay; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lang was preceded in death by two children, Dennis Lee Franks and Gwendoline Johns, two sisters and two brothers.
