Age 75, of Portage, passed away early Thursday morning, August 22, 2024. Lynda was born in Kalamazoo on May 3, 1949, the daughter of Arthur and Peggy (Fitzgerald) Yokom. Lynda is survived by her daughter Cydnie (William) Shephard; son, Matthew Sprinkle; grandchildren, Meagan (Jonathon) Bartee, Tyler (Andrew) Gardner, Brendan (Douglas) Sutherland, Levi Shephard, Luke Sprinkle, Amber (Alex) Sprinkle-Lombardo; brother, David (Heather) Yokom; niece, Ashley (Duncan) Rice, Heather Blott; and many friends, including her lifetime companion, J.R. Smith; and best friend, Elaine Kidder. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents.
