A memorial mass will be said on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 936 Lake St., Kalamazoo. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Lynda will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Roman Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 87, passed away Friday evening, August 30, 2024. Lynda was born in Kalamazoo on July 21, 1937, the daughter of James Eugene and Betty E. (Garske) Chandler. Lynda loved baking and was known for her pecan rolls and cookies. As a devoted member of her church, she always prepared baked goods for funeral receptions. She loved the holidays and always had a way to make Christmas special. She also liked gardening and tending to her flowers. Lynda is survived by her children, Greg (Judy) Cutler, Randy (Amy Cox) Cutler, Melissa Cutler; grandchildren, Stephanie (Josh) Birchfield and Erin Cutler; brothers, Mike (Jan) Chandler, Dennis (Carol) Chandler; sister-in-law, Nancy Chandler; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Chandler.
