Age 79, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Lyndel was born in Des Arc, AR, on May 29, 1941. He was one of 12 children born to James Erven and Grace (Parkridge) Johnson. Lyndel was an avid fisherman. He was a classic country music fan and enjoyed dancing. Nothing was more important to him than his family. He is survived by his children, Linda (Miles) Fifer of Gobles and Scott (Shelly) Johnson of Grand Rapids; a son in law, Cary DeCamp; daughter in law, Tracy King; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Julie Ann DeCamp; son, Michael King.
