Age 54, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020. Teresa was born on April 12, 1965, in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Ramon and Maria (Razo) Tornero. On December 19, 1987, she married Guillermo Diaz, who survives her. Teresa loved gardening and taking care of her house plants. She enjoyed crafting and was good at cooking, knitting, and story-telling. She was artistic and enjoyed singing and dancing. She and Guillermo, and their young family immigrated to the United States in 1990. She had a strong interest in other cultures. With all of her interests, nothing was more important to her than her family. She was very proud of her children, and always put them and their interests first. Her faith was very important to her and she was a devout Catholic. Besides her husband, Teresa is also survived by her children, Fatima (Andrew) Diaz-Nassaney of Kalamazoo, Benjamin Diaz of Kalamazoo, Maria Diaz of Kalamazoo; father, Ramon Tornero of Mexico; 5 siblings including a sister, Guadalupe Tornero of Kalamazoo; her father in law, Benjamin H. Diaz; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother, and an infant sister.
