Age 87, passed away early Saturday morning November 07, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Madonna was born in Sargent County, North Dakota on July 21, 1933, the daughter of Robert James and Marie Ann (Geraets) Frisby. Madonna performed a lot of charitable work, which included making over 1,600 cushions for breast cancer patients. She also handmade many pillows and blankets for the homeless. Madonna fell in love with a young man named Emery Raskey, and they were wed on June 26, 1954. Sadly, Emery passed away at age 42, leaving Madonna to raise their eight children as a single mom in the 70’s. She was a very independent woman and learned how to do many things that women did not typically do in the day. Madonna’s fortitude and willingness to do what needed to be done, set her on a path to a very memorable and rewarding life. She always had a homemade meal on the table and was quite famous for her peanut butter pie. Madonna was preceded in death by her husband, Emery, her parents, her children, Ronald, Roger and Randy Raskey, daughter in law Patricia (Kowalski) Raskey, daughter in law Gislene (Nicolau) Raskey, daughter in law Debra (Carlson) Raskey. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Richard (Laura) Raskey, Rita (Bob) Bush, Ralph (Paula) Raskey, Robert Raskey and Renee (Paul) Guilford. Her beloved grandchildren, Nicolas Raskey, Adam Raskey, Rachele (Vanessa) Rose, Robin (Adam) Kostanecki, Ashley (Brian) Ross, Sarah, Erik (Kristen) Bush, Crystal, Ryan and Kayla Raskey, Tracy, Robert Raskey, Jr., Emily and Lindsey Guildford and many great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings Donald Frisby, Margaret Rose, Rose Marie Martin, Roberta Miller and Denise Fonk.
