Age 84, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Marcia was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 19, 1936, the daughter of the late Turner R. and Elsie L. (Flagg) Howard. She was a graduate of State High School, class of 1955. Three months after graduation, Marcia started her career at the Upjohn Company and retired in 1992 after 37 years of employment. Following her retirement, she worked part-time at Kohl’s on South Westnedge and at Schram’s Greenhouse. Marcia is survived by her sisters, Linda Leonard, Beverly Pike and Ruth (Arthur) Randall; sister in-law, Karen Howard; nieces and nephews, Pamela (Vern) Waterman, Cynthia Howard, Wayne (Danielle) Howard, Timothy (Penny) Howard, Jeffrey Leonard, Tamara Boonstra, Steve (Rinda) Pike, Joel (Lynda) Pike, Christopher (Theresa) Pike, Eric (Thip) Vito, Keith Randall, Sheila (Chuck) Iverson, Kimberly (Clair) Carr, Michael Howard, Laura (Don) Scarbrough and Shelly Eaton; numerous beloved great and great-great nieces and nephews and three special children she took under her wing, Fred and Earl Julian and Crystal Julian Grimes. Marcia was preceded in death by her brothers, Quentin (Lois) and Theodore Howard; brothers in-law, John Pike and Clarence Vito; niece, Sheryl (Ronald) Stiger and great-nephew, Bradley Midgett.
