Age 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family on September 24, 2020. Margaret was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 4, 1942, the daughter of the late Anthony and Jeanette (Sikkema) VanDenBerg. She is survived by her children, Ron (Nikki) Kloosterman, Julie (Bob) Cole, Joni (Tom) Balkema and Marty (Heidi) Kloosterman; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dave (Ann) and Cal (Beth) VanDenBerg; sister, Doris (Jerry) Wolthuis; sisters in-law, Gert, Cindy and Julie VanDenBerg and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Brussee; the father of her dear children, Martin Kloosterman; grandson, John Luke Balkema; brothers, Henry, Ken and Dewey VanDenBerg and sister in-law, Darlene VanDenBerg. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Texas Corners Bible Church, 7780 S. 8th St., Kalamazoo, MI 49009, with Pastor David Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park – North (located on Drake Rd.). Memorial contributions may be made to Texas Corners Bible Church.
