Age 97, passed away at home on Monday, September 19, 2022. Margaret was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Jacob and Jennie (Mulder) Newmeyer. Margaret was very active in her church over the years and ran the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission alongside her husband during the 1980s. On April 21, 1949, she was united in marriage to John H. Schuring, who preceded her in death on March 20, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her son, Daniel Schuring and a brother and sister. Margaret is survived by her children, Mary Schuring, Mark Schuring and Ruth Martin; grandchildren, Jonathan Schuring, Steven Schuring, Danielle (Jake) Kellogg, Logan (Randall) Peters, Avery (Todd) MaGee, Bailey (Kyle) Heiser, Tyler Schuring and Daniel (Amanda) Martin; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside committal service will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park – South on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
