Age 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Galesburg on October 29, 2016. Marian was born on October 10, 1930 in Sunfield, MI, the daughter of Orange Ladd and Bernice (Bigelow) Ladd.
Marian was a homemaker, gardener, photographer and loved country music, her family and pets. She had lived for over 35 years with her friend and partner, Wayne Welch at his home in Battle Creek, MI.
Marian was preceded in death by her son, Carl Hisey; sister, Ilene and brother, James. Marian is survived by her son, Robert Hisey; daughter, Kathleen (Gregory) Fici and daughter-in-law, Vonni Hisey; seven grandchildren, Rebecca (Dick) Slade, Natalie (Scott) Cadwell, Jennifer (Donnie) Bannister, Kristina (Travis) Hisey, Windy (Jamie) Clark, Misty (Brian) Toepper, and Anthony Fici and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Margaret Jones; brothers, Carl (Nancy) Ladd and Earl (Kathy) Ladd and several nieces and nephews.
