What a loving tribute! Ruth and I played Miss Softball America as girls. Our moms would sit together at the games. Both of them hated the heat. My mom called Mrs. Orwig one day and told her she wouldn’t be going to the game because it would be too hot. Well Mrs. Orwig went and suffered through it. My mom told me later that she paid for it. It took her the rest of the day to recover. She just sat in a chair in front of a fan. Family did mean everything to her. May her soul rest in peace, Karen (Mowry) Albano
