A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM at First Congregational Church, 345 W. Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49007. Friends may meet with the family at the church beginning at 1:30 PM. Private interment will be at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park – South. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Reverence Home Health and Hospice.

My sympathies to Marie's family. She and I were buddies back in the days of the annual Upjohn Retiree Picnic when we were both on the planning committee. Plus we used to cross paths in later years at the S. Westnedge Harding's. As I remember, the last time I saw her (at Harding's, of course) she had recently traded her Buick Rondevue for something newer and wasn't real happy (she might have used a more powerful phrase) about the transaction. She was a good friend and I enjoyed being her friend.

Nothing can compare to one\\\'s loosing their mother... But I believe there is a very special place for mother\\\'s so they can continue to watch over the family and provide spiritual guidance\\\'s....
