Age 71 of Lawton, passed away on Monday night, November 25, 2024. Marilyn was born in Chicago, IL, on November 27, 1952, the daughter of Michael and Ann (Hansen) Taglieri. On October 19, 1980, she married Wayne Greenwood who survives her. Marilyn was a graduate of Morgan Park High School in Chicago and was employed by the Illinois State Police for 25 years. Besides her career serving the State of Illinois, she spent countless hours volunteering. A good share of her volunteerism was with the local Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday School teach, in church administration and as an Elder. Marilyn loved to travel and she particularly liked going on road trips. She and Wayne enjoyed wintering in Florida where she loved to visit fairs, garage sales and visiting other friends who had also retired there. Besides her husband, Marilyn is survived by her son Jeremy M. Greenwood; her daughter-in-law, Nicolette Pavlovics; sister, Linda Vitkauskas; brother, Michael Taglieri; a large group of extended family members in the Gravel lake area; and countless friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Noel Taglieri.
