December 5, 1938 - July 28, 2021

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, 7028 Oakland Dr., Portage, MI 49024. Due to Covid restrictions, masks are required and there will be no visitation or luncheon. Memorial contributions can be made in Marilynn’s name to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

I just read the wonderful tribute a family member wrote for my sister of 82 years. My heart is bursting with pride in the life Marilynn led; and with this well manuscripted synopsis of all she stood for. Marilynn most certainly made this world a better place. My memories of her could fill a library. Her creativity and imagination were crucial elements to MY childhood. Her love and devotion to me most certainly created the "me" of today. We grew up as "twins", only 21 months apart in age, and enjoyed the same family experiences throughout the years. My heartache for the loss is overcome by the affirmation that she is in the arms of Jesus...and having a Heavenly reunion with so many loved ones. I KNOW MARE IS FINE; but WE are suffering.
