We send our deepest, most heartfelt condolences to the entire Carter family. Aunt Margie was definitively the heart of her family and her loss is most certainly felt deeply. As a child what I remember most is her wonderful holiday parties. We would all gather in her beautiful home and have such a wonderful time together. She would always allow me to play the player piano she had and that always made me feel special. She was the consummate hostess and I will miss her holiday parties and family gatherings. They will never be the same without her and her special touch. Godspeed Aunt Margie, we love you!

I count it a rich blessing to have known her as a friend and to have ministered to her as a pastor. She was a dear and determined lady of whom I have many fond memories. I can still chuckle to myself when I recall her feathered-friend "Johnny" sitting on her shoulder!! It didn't take me long to learn that a short visit with Marjorie at Friendship Village was not likely to happen. The members of Marjorie's family are in my thoughts and prayers.
